Well, it’s that time of year again and that means the Santa Claus Parade will be rolling down our street. This year is extra special because Peyton got to be on the float for our church! Small town parades aren’t known for how long they usually are but the neighbours and I were pleasantly surprised that our little parade lasted almost an hour.
So without further ado…
Sunday morning was filled with tears as I watched 3 youth from our church family get baptised. It was awesome to hear their testimony and how impassioned they were. We felt His presence for sure, and I wasn’t the only one crying.
After church, we had Peyton’s bestie over for a little play date where we made some bath salts with our essential oils. The girls had fun and ended up making some lovely scented Christmas gifts.
Sunday night we got some pretty bad weather but have no fear Addy is ready to go!
With all the excitement of the weekend, I needed a yummy and quick supper idea and we had some rutabaga hanging around so I figured I could make a soup! It was so creamy and delicious that I know I’ll be making this again really soon. Click here for the recipe.
